Vilamoura Marina is close to Faro, the southernmost city in Portugal. Rich in historical buildings, with great shopping and wonderful restaurants Faro is an ideal destination whether for a few hours or a full day. It takes approximately 45 minutes on the bus from Vilamoura Marina to Faro.

Albufeira
A great beach and plenty of 'tourist' shops and activities await you in Albufeira. This well-know resort has plenty going on and is an ideal day trip from Vilamoura Marina. The local buses run approximately every half hour and the bus leaves just a few minutes walk from the apartment.
